Galway | Delapre | Gold€1.890,00
This shoe is an example of a made-to-order shoe selected by a client of The Hand. We feature it here for the sake of inspiration.
Edward Green's derby boot "Galway" is a timeless masterpiece. Created for the British countryside and military in the 1930s, today the iconic style can be worn anywhere from an urban evening stroll, to a music festival weekender. This versatile boot can also be matched beautifully with a suit, if you dare.
This Galway boot (Goodyear, storm welt) was made on the softly curved 202 last. Gold Delapre is a tan-colored fatty leather, very suitable for stormy weather and perfect for a fresh look. For an extra sturdy edge, we selected the Ridgeway sole, Edward Green's most robust choice. This renders the rugged yet elegant boot suitable for any weather.
The specialty of The Hand: bespoke shoes, created for your feet, and made-to-order shoes, designed for your taste. Most shoemakers we work with offer these masterpieces.
