The Hand Exclusive Cranleigh Mink Suede is a contemporary interpretation of Edward Green’s Dover, blending craftsmanship with versatility. Expertly hand-sewn with a boar’s bristle, the apron and toe are accentuated by contrasting stitching that also highlights the heel quarter and elegant lines along the facing.

Founder Dennis explains the choice of mink suede: “It’s a versatile, deep brown that pairs with everything—even white trousers. Perfect for long walks or city trips, it's an evergreen boot you can wear year-round.”

Built on the curved 202 last with a British-made Dainite rubber sole and storm welt, this boot is designed for rainy weather. Its balance of rugged durability and refined style makes it perfect with jeans, workwear, or smart-casual looks.

A matching belt, socks, and a suede brush are available to keep this versatile boot in pristine condition.

  • Use Shoe Trees: Insert well-fitting shoe trees to maintain shape and extend lifespan, especially if shoes get wet. Premium suede can handle rain.
  • Brush Regularly: Use a high-quality suede brush (preferably natural rubber, like Turms) to remove dirt. Use a welt brush to remove dust and dirt trapped in the crevices.
  • Handle Stains Professionally: For stubborn stains (e.g., oil), consult a cobbler to treat with suede shampoo.
  • Avoid Overusing Protective Sprays: Choose a natural protector; limit silicone sprays as they block leather pores and reduce breathability.
