Loafers: many clients go ½ size down for grip, as long as the length still works.
Width: a wider fitting adds room in the heel too, which can cause slipping. At this level, many men don't need the wider fitting they wear elsewhere.

The 666 is Alden's tassel moccasin, an American classic that pairs a moccasin toe with the brand's distinctive tassel design. It is built on the Aberdeen last, whose elegant almond toe gives the loafer a refined, slightly dressier line.

This make-up is cut from Alden's Mocha Kid suede, a deep chocolate brown that softens that line and gives the shoe a relaxed, tactile character. Goodyear-welted on a single leather sole and made in the USA, it moves easily from flannels and a soft jacket to chinos and an open collar, from fall well into spring.
