Worth Knowing

Loafers: many clients go ½ size down for grip, as long as the length still works.
Width: a wider fitting adds room in the heel too, which can cause slipping. At this level, many men don't need the wider fitting they wear elsewhere.

The Thorpe is a stunning split-toe derby boot made by hand in Gaziano & Girling’s workshop in Northampton, England. Crafted around the shoemakers MH71 last, which has a soft and square toe that’s brilliantly balanced with a touch of aggressiveness through the midsection, this is a winter conquering boot par excellence.

Made using a rioja hatch grain leather, which has a deep purple profile that catches the light beautifully, it’s housed on a sturdy Dainite sole which will put you in good stead throughout the fall and winter seasons.
