Saint Crispin’s has taken the classic Chukka style boot and elevated it through exceptional craftsmanship as they’ve been hand-welted and hand-lasted. This pair is a signature model from the brand and is formed on the maker’s softly rounded Classic last using a supple greige suede, making it versatile and easy to wear with a range of different outfits. It has a tonal Norvegese welt to repel water, flat leather laces, a sculpted rear quarter and lightweight and comfortable Vibram soles.

Please note: The Saint Crispin’s for The Hand shoes are all MTO. The beauty of this partnership is that customisation is at the heart of Saint Crispin’s. If you wish for a different leather, or to change the colour of the eyelets, this is entirely possible. The shoes take approximately two months to make, which is extremely quick given the high level of craftsmanship. There is even an express option should you wish to pay more. Each pair comes with lasted shoe trees.

  • Use Shoe Trees: Insert well-fitting shoe trees to maintain shape and extend lifespan, especially if shoes get wet. Premium suede can handle rain.
  • Brush Regularly: Use a high-quality suede brush (preferably natural rubber, like Turms) to remove dirt. Use a welt brush to remove dust and dirt trapped in the crevices.
  • Handle Stains Professionally: For stubborn stains (e.g., oil), consult a cobbler to treat with suede shampoo.
  • Avoid Overusing Protective Sprays: Choose a natural protector; limit silicone sprays as they block leather pores and reduce breathability.
