The navy canopy is a durable polyamide-polyester blend, finished with palladium fittings and Francesco Maglia branding. An easy gift, and the umbrella you will actually carry.

Meet the Maker

Francesco Maglia has made umbrellas by hand in Milan for six generations. In the family workshop on Via Ripamonti, every umbrella is still made by hand, one at a time.

Today the house is led by Francesco Maglia himself, the sixth generation to carry the name. The result is an everyday object made to last for decades: balanced in the hand, quietly refined, and built to be repaired rather than replaced.

Care Recommendations

Open to dry naturally after use, away from direct heat. Furl only when completely dry. Wipe the wooden handle with a soft, dry cloth.

Shipping Costs: We ask for a contribution to shipping costs: €10 within the Netherlands, €25 within Europe, and €35 outside Europe. We cover the rest. Express shipping is available at an additional cost.
