Worth Knowing

Loafers: many clients go ½ size down for grip, as long as the length still works.
Width: a wider fitting adds room in the heel too, which can cause slipping. At this level, many men don't need the wider fitting they wear elsewhere.

The Shanklin is Edward Green's unlined chukka boot, made on the 202 last, the house's classic round-toed shape. A clean silhouette and a soft, unstructured feel give it an easy, relaxed character.

This make-up is in Mink suede, a deep, warm brown with a fine nap that pairs with almost every tone in a wardrobe. A dark brown rubber sole adds grip and keeps the look tonal. Goodyear-welted in Northampton, it works with chinos, cords or denim, from fall through spring.
