The Windermere is a classic Derby style dress shoe made by hand in Edward Green's workshop in Northampton. Crafted on the 202 last, which is quintessentially English with its softly curved profile, the Windermere is designed to perform in foul conditions making it the ideal shoe for the winter season. It does so through the notched Storm Welt, which makes it more difficult for water to penetrate the shoe (whilst also providing an aesthetically pleasing detail), and the Dainite rubber soles. This particular model is crafted from the rich Nightshade Antique Calf, which has a lovely deep red profile. They will pair well with jeans made from raw selvedge denim and also heavy corduroy and moleskin in a spectrum of different autumnal hues.
