To mark the start of spring, we presented a Group-Made-to-Order with Edward Green: Aqua Suede Editions. Over the years, we’ve worked closely with the team to produce unique models exclusive to The Hand (like the Oyster suede capsule), and we present: the aqua suede Piccadilly loafer and Dover lace-up both of which are unlined for your comfort.
Aqua suede is an exceptionally vibrant color described as a deep light blue suede with a tropical touch. Depending on the lighting, it frequently appears differently, enhancing its allure. Due to the delicacy of this color, we’ll return this sample to Edward Green so the people selecting the hides within the workshop pick the same color range.
The Piccadilly is Edward Green’s signature penny loafer crafted on the shoemaker’s iconic 184 last. Instantly recognizable via its almond-shaped toe, which perfectly balances the notion of formal and casual, this model has been made using the shoemaker’s much-loved suede leather, which molds to your feet. Thanks to its charming texture, it has a subtle and interesting personality while still matchable with numerous styles. Thanks to its unlined construction, it’s noticeably lighter and more comfortable than lined versions, and as a result, you can wear it throughout the seasons. With its blue or even tropical water look, these will pair particularly elegantly with British twill or Japanese denim. A matching belt is available upon request.
