Windermere | Cordovan | Cognac
Estimated Delivery Time: Fall/Winter season, October–November 2026

The Windermere is Edward Green at its most quietly confident: a plain-toe derby with strength, balance, and a deep sense of permanence.
For this exclusive make-up with The Hand, the Windermere is crafted in cognac Horween shell cordovan. The leather brings a rich, warm tone with natural depth, while its dense structure gives the shoe remarkable durability. Over time, the surface develops a soft glow and character that belongs entirely to its wearer.
The design is made on Edward Green’s 202 last, a classic round last known for its timeless proportions and generous elegance. It gives the Windermere a grounded silhouette without becoming heavy or rigid in expression.
A special notch welt frames the sole edge and gives the shoe a more pronounced architectural line. Combined with a Dainite rubber sole, the Windermere becomes a practical year-round companion: refined enough for tailored wool, relaxed enough for denim, and durable enough for long days in the city.
This is a shoe for textured wardrobes. Think flannel trousers, heavier cottons, knitwear, denim, tweed, and brushed wool. It is not designed to be delicate. It is designed to walk with you for years, gaining depth, patina, and presence with every wear.
